Course Content:
Our range of Health & Safety courses are designed to cover a broad range of health and safety topics and subject areas which enable businesses and individuals to provide safe and healthy workplace conditions as well as the right systems and methods for safe activities.
This includes understanding of legal responsibilities, accident prevention and an overview of the key areas of workplace health and safety, creating safe working environments, recognising/identifying hazards, right through to working in the capacity of a supervisor or managerial role.
- Level 1 – HABC Level 1 Award in Principles of Health and Safety in the Workplace
- Level 2 – HABC Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (QCF)
- Level 3 – HABC Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (QCF)
- Level 4 – HABC Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (QCF)
Who Should Attend?
Level 1 – Designed for those learners either currently working in any environment, or those returning/starting work and wishing to gain a nationally recognised qualification in health and safety.
Level 2 – Aimed at employees and enables them to work safely and recognise and deal with hazards in the workplace. It also provides learners with knowledge of the basic health and safety practices essential in the workplace
Level 3 – Aimed at learners already working in the capacity of supervisor, manager or team leader and also those who are preparing to start work at this level.
Level 4 – Aimed at learners currently working, or preparing to work, as supervisors and managers with a direct responsibility for health and safety management.
