DAY COURSE
This 3 day first aid at work qualification meets the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements.
The Highfield Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) has been developed and is awarded by Highfield Qualifications and sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The RQF is a qualification framework regulated by Ofqual and CCEA Regulation.
This qualification covers knowledge such as the roles and responsibilities of the first aider, how to assess an incident and recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness. The qualification also covers first aid skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and assisting a casualty who is suffering from major injury and illness such as chest injuries, spinal injuries and anaphylaxis.
The qualification is valid for 3 years from the date of award. It is recommended that learners refresh their knowledge annually.
