The Highfield Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety (RQF) has been developed and is awarded by Highfield Qualifications and sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)
The RQF is a qualification framework regulated by Ofqual and CCEA Regulation.
This qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety who are based in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
Learners gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone and will recognise the causes of fire as well as knowing common hazards, the steps in a fire risk assessment and how to reduce the likelihood of fires.
This qualification is externally set and assessed by a 20-question multiple-choice examination. Successful learners will have to demonstrate knowledge across the unit content and correctly answer 12 questions or more to achieve a pass.

This Level 2 Award in Fire Safety is a qualification aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
